PLANNING ELECTS NANCY AMADEO

The planning commission elected Commissioner Nancy Amadeo to succeed Chairperson Patti Bradshaw as Chairperson for the commission. Commissioner Debra Daniels was elected Vice-Chair.

MARINA PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING 3/13/08

The following are the action items for the meeting of 3/13/08. Please plan to attend or watch the meeting on Channel 25 starting at 6:30 p.m.

ACTION ITEMS: Action listed for each Agenda item is that which is recommended by staff. The Planning Commission may, at its discretion, take action on any items. The public is invited to approach the podium to provide up to three (3) minutes of public comment.

a. Recommendation to take any testimony from the public and consider adopting Resolution 2008- approving a time extension of an additional twenty-four (24) months of the initial twenty-four (24) month life of a Tentative Map TM 2005-04 for a seven (7)-lot subdivision of a 14,700 square foot parcel located at 3110 Seacrest Avenue (APN 032-201-027) associated with the development of the parcel as a Planned Unit Development with seven (7)- residential dwellings aPPROVED 7-0

b. Recommendation to consider adopting Resolution 2008- recommending City Council consideration of Marina Planning Commission 2007 Annual Report and proposed 2008 goals. After several additions the commission approved it 7-0

MARINA MAYOR WILMOT

The Marina City Council unanimously voted to have a member of the council, (Council member Mayor pro tem-Gary Wilmot), succeed Mayor Mette-McCutchon.

MARINA STATION APPROVED BY COUNCIL

Your city council voted 4-0 (Councilman Ford recused himself) to approve the Marina Station project. The vote came at the March 4th meeting of the Marina City Council. Council members McCall, Wilmot, Gray and Mayor Mette-McCutchon voted in favor of the project.
